THE AUTHOR

Pati Tierney, an artistic pseudonym, is an established health professional with over 20 years’ experience in human service organizations specializing in mental health and trauma. She also runs her own private counselling practice.

She is a qualified social worker (University of Melbourne), accredited mental health social worker, and qualified family therapist (Master of Clinical Family Therapy, La Trobe University). She also holds a Master’s degree in Languages and Literature (University of Adam Mickiewicz, Poznan, Poland).

Pati has a strong interest in social justice issues and she is an accomplished presenter at international forums e.g. 10th International Social Work Conference, Melbourne, presenting on issues affecting the community, including: the housing crisis and scamming.
